On the lower landings, other monkeys interacted directly with tourists, pausing on the colorful walls to inspect cameras, umbrellas, and bags.

This constant interaction between wildlife and worshippers creates a fascinating cultural spectacle. While the macaques are undoubtedly wild animals driven by opportunistic feeding habits, they have become an inseparable part of the Batu Caves experience.
