An outdoor commemorative monument for Hieromonk Neofit Rilski is depicted, situated against a multi-colored brick wall within the Rila Monastery complex in Rilski manastir, Bulgaria. The central feature is a verdigris-patinated bronze bas-relief of a bearded man in monastic robes and a skufia, holding a book, set within an arched, ornate granite frame topped with an Orthodox cross. Below the relief, a granite plaque is inscribed in Cyrillic, identifying the figure as "ЙЕРОМОНАХЪ НЕОФИТЪ РИЛСКІЙ" (Hieromonk Neofit Rilski) with the dates "1723–1881." A lower inscription reads "ОТЪ ПРИЗНАТЕЛНОТО УЧИТѢЛСТВО — 1908 —" (From the grateful teaching profession — 1908 —). The monument rests on a tiered stone base. The background wall exhibits alternating horizontal courses of light-colored and red bricks, with a section of dark grey/black bricks near the monument's base. A single metal hook or bracket is visible on the left side of the wall. In the foreground, a low perimeter fence encloses the base of the monument, consisting of square-profiled granite posts with decorative caps, connected by dark metal chains. The ground within this enclosure features sparse moss and small, dry vegetation, along with a flat, light-colored stone slab. Beyond the fence, the ground is paved with irregular grey stone slabs. The scene is illuminated by ambient daylight, suggesting an overcast sky.
