A large, smooth, grey rock rests in the mid-ground, positioned against the wooden wall. Below this, a horizontal reddish-brown beam or barrier is present, beneath which a cluster of smaller, irregularly shaped rocks is visible. A tree trunk partially enters the frame on the far right.
