Small weeds are visible growing between some of the pavers and in the gaps around the monument's base. Strong shadows are cast by the monument onto the paving, indicating a high sun position. Beyond the paved area, a strip of unkempt green grass separates the walkway from further landscaping. Two empty park benches with decorative metal frames and wooden slats are visible in the midground to the right of the monument. Several deciduous trees with full green foliage are scattered throughout the scene, some bordering the paved area and others further in the background. A lamppost with a spherical light fixture is visible on the right side of the image, behind the monument. In the background, multi-story residential buildings, likely apartment blocks, with light-colored facades (yellowish-beige and white) and multiple windows, are visible through and above the trees.
