A string of dark prayer beads, known as a tasbih or misbaha, is centrally displayed on a light-colored textile surface. The object consists of 55 uniformly dark, elongated oval beads, possibly made of wood or resin, arranged in a continuous loop. Two smaller, cylindrical separator beads are present at one point along the string. An elongated, dark 'imam' bead connects the main string to a black tassel composed of numerous thin, frayed threads. The tassel extends outwards, parallel to the plane of the beads. The textile surface is off-white or cream, exhibiting subtle folds and texture. The scene is located in Fez, Morocco.
