Owa-AliosimiNigeria

A single adult odonate, identified as a dragonfly, is observed stationary on a granular, light beige stucco wall surface in Owa-Aliosimi, Nigeria. The insect is positioned diagonally across the frame, with its head oriented towards the upper left. Its body is dark, elongated, and segmented, measuring approximately 4-5 cm in length. Four translucent, heavily veined wings are spread laterally, exhibiting darker markings near the wingtips. Prominent compound eyes are visible on the insect's head. A distinct shadow, consistent with the insect's form, is cast to its lower right, suggesting a light source originating from the upper left. The wall surface displays a uniform, rough texture composed of small, irregular aggregates. Minor reddish-brown particulate matter is scattered sparsely across the wall. No other animate subjects or human interaction is depicted.
