The image depicts the elaborate iconostasis inside Saint Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery in Kyiv, Ukraine. The central and dominant feature is a highly ornate, multi-tiered iconostasis rendered in gilded wood with extensive Baroque-style carvings. At the center of the iconostasis are the Royal Doors (Holy Doors), featuring two vertical panels adorned with smaller oval-framed icons of saints, possibly apostles or evangelists.
