This photograph depicts an outdoor scene located in Vasilevka, Russia. No individuals are present. The foreground consists of an uncultivated ground area heavily covered with diverse vegetation, including prominent clumps of tall, light-colored feathery grasses, as well as various green and dried reddish-brown herbaceous plants. Several discarded vehicle tires are repurposed within this landscape. Slightly left of center, a white tire, cut and sculpted to resemble a swan, is positioned on top of a blue-painted tire acting as a base. Other tires, partially buried or stacked, are visible; these include a red tire on the far left, a dark-colored tire with faded paint, a light gray/white tire, and a bright turquoise-painted tire towards the right. An orange terracotta pot containing green foliage rests on a blue tire in the lower right portion of the image. In the midground, a low, weathered picket fence extends horizontally, with individual pickets painted in a variety of colors, including white, red, orange, green, and blue. The background is dominated by a dense pine forest composed of numerous tall trees with dark green needles and visible, textured trunks.
