A large tree trunk, located in the city of Zanzibar, Tanzania, is depicted vertically, completely enveloped by an extensive, intertwined network of thick, greyish-brown aerial roots. The underlying tree bark, visible in patches, is dark with reddish-brown tones and minor green organic growth. Green foliage and smaller branches extend from the upper left side of the trunk. A single, faded, orange-brown fabric artifact hangs from a root cluster on the right-hand side of the trunk. The base of the tree shows green ground cover and a crumpled green object in the lower left foreground. The background reveals blurred tropical vegetation, including broad leaves on the right, and indistinct structures, with a light-colored building section visible on the far right and a light wall on the far left.
