Two meerkats are observed within an artificial rocky habitat enclosure at the Sofia Zoo, Sofia, Bulgaria

Two meerkats are observed within an artificial rocky habitat enclosure at the Sofia Zoo, Sofia, Bulgaria. The meerkat positioned on the left stands upright on its hind legs atop a weathered, horizontal wooden log, looking directly upwards. Its forelimbs are held close to its chest. The meerkat on the right also stands upright on its hind legs, situated on a cross-section of a wooden log, and is facing towards the right with its head slightly out of focus. Both animals display typical light brown and tan fur coloration. The enclosure floor and background consist of textured, simulated rock formations in varying shades of grey and brown. A dark corrugated pipe is visible behind the logs. On the left side of the enclosure, a metal mesh barrier is present, backed by a woven material. On the right, a large glass panel reflects multiple points of light from the environment outside or within the enclosure, creating a visual separation between the animals and a viewing area.
