This image depicts a heavily damaged urban environment in Khan Yunis, Palestinian Territory, viewed from an elevated perspective. A multi-story apartment building, primarily beige with brown accents, dominates the frame. Its upper floors show numerous windows, some broken or covered with tarpaulins, and balconies with white railings from which laundry hangs. The lower two to three floors of the building exhibit catastrophic structural damage, with large sections of exterior walls completely destroyed, exposing interior rooms, concrete slabs, and twisted rebar. Clothes are strung on lines within these exposed, ruined sections. At ground level, extensive piles of concrete rubble, fragmented building materials, and debris spread across the foreground and beneath the damaged structure. A dirt path, relatively clearer but still strewn with small debris, runs across the mid-ground. To the left, partially buried in rubble, lies a white, heavily damaged vehicle. Black electrical cables are visible on the ground in the lower right. Two children are present on the ground amidst the destruction. One child, wearing a light-colored top, stands near a pile of rubble close to the damaged building. Another child, in a gray top, walks on the dirt path in the mid-ground, moving from left to right.
