A highly polished, spherical gold football trophy, approximately 30-40 cm in diameter, is centrally displayed
A highly polished, spherical gold football trophy, approximately 30-40 cm in diameter, is centrally displayed. Its surface features hexagonal and pentagonal panels, characteristic of a traditional football. On one prominent hexagonal panel, the inscription "Ballon d'Or 2004" is visible. The trophy is mounted on a dark, irregular base composed of numerous metallic, crystalline formations resembling pyrite, which in turn rests on a thin, undulating golden plate. This entire assembly is situated on a flat, uniform light grey display surface. The background features a plain white wall with blurred textual information, indicative of an exhibition or museum setting. A vertical, transparent panel is present to the right. Reflections on the trophy's lustrous surface reveal at least three individuals, including a person wearing an orange/reddish head covering and holding a mobile device (presumably the photographer), and another individual in lighter attire. A distinct human shadow is cast upon the white background wall in the upper right quadrant. This trophy, identified as Andriy Shevchenko's 2004 Ballon d'Or, is located at the National Museum of Sports Glory of Ukraine in Kyiv, Ukraine.
