The scene displays a large, irregularly shaped stone petroglyph situated outdoors in Tinaquillo, Venezuela. The stone, approximately 0.7 to 1 meter in its longest dimension, exhibits a mottled coloration of gray, reddish-brown, and localized bluish-gray hues. Its visible upper surface is extensively carved with worn designs. Prominent features include a central quatrefoil-like pattern, internally divided into four quadrants, each containing a circular depression with a dark, recessed center. Surrounding this are multiple additional circular carvings of varying diameters, some also featuring central hollows, and faint curvilinear patterns across the stone. The carvings show signs of weathering and dark material accumulation within the depressions. The petroglyph rests directly on dry, reddish-brown soil, which is largely covered by scattered, desiccated brown leaves and sparse patches of small green herbaceous plants. A section of light-colored concrete or pavement is partially visible in the upper left background, experiencing shadow. The entire scene is illuminated by direct sunlight, casting defined shadows.
