This image depicts the interior of a bird cage located in Barcelos, Portugal. The cage is constructed of gray metal bars, some exhibiting minor discoloration. Five canaries are present. One predominantly white canary with yellow wing and tail markings is perched on an upper horizontal wooden dowel. Two entirely yellow canaries are also situated on or near this upper dowel. A fourth entirely yellow canary perches on a lower, vertical wooden element on the left side of the cage. A fifth entirely yellow canary is partially visible in the lower right quadrant, near the cage floor. Two gray plastic feeders, each with a metal grate, are attached to the lower cage bars; one is visible on the left and another on the right. The cage floor contains bedding material, possibly wood shavings or seed husks, mixed with debris. A white circular plastic cap is affixed to the upper right interior cage bars. The background above the cage consists of brown cardboard or upholstered material.
