A small domestic canine, appearing to be a puppy, stands on an uneven, dark gray paved surface in Lokoja, Nigeria. The puppy has a brown coat with lighter tan and white markings on its muzzle, chest, and all four paws. Its tail is curled slightly upward with a white tip. It faces directly towards the observer. To its right and behind it, a dense clump of green herbaceous vegetation with small white flowers grows from the paved ground. Behind the vegetation and to the left, a textured, light gray concrete wall is visible. Near the base of this wall, a light brown rock rests on the ground. Various pieces of scattered debris, including black plastic, are present on the paved surface and within the vegetation. In the far background, an unpaved area with faint outlines of debris is discernible.
