A concrete diving platform with a curved design extends out into the calm turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea. It is located off the coast of Rodos, Greece, at coordinates 36.453 latitude and 28.225 longitude. The platform is about two-thirds of the way out into the water from the shoreline and has a metal railing along its edge. About a dozen people are on the platform, some standing at the edge, others sitting or lying on the platform. A few more people can be seen swimming in the water around the platform. The platform is visible against a backdrop of a clear blue sky with wispy white clouds and a distant view of a mountainous shoreline. A small, distant boat appears on the horizon, suggesting the presence of a harbor or marina nearby.
