The top-most pumpkin, positioned on an upper step to the left, is medium-sized with triangular eyes and a wide, carved smile. Below it and centrally located on a middle step is the largest pumpkin, featuring triangular eyes, a triangular nose, and a complex, jagged-toothed mouth. On the lowest visible step to the right rests the smallest pumpkin, which has simple triangular eyes and a triangular mouth. All pumpkins are orange with intact stems. The stairs appear to be constructed from a light grey or beige stone or concrete. The background wall consists of dark, vertically oriented panels with a mottled texture.
