This image depicts a section of the Kalemegdan Fortress in Belgrade, Serbia
MomentThis image depicts a section of the Kalemegdan Fortress in Belgrade, Serbia. The scene is dominated by a large, light-colored stone fortress wall stretching horizontally across the midground. Behind and above this wall, a prominent, tall white clock tower (Sahat Kula) with a green domed roof and visible clock faces rises towards a partly cloudy sky. In the foreground and midground, a collection of military exhibits, primarily consisting of green artillery cannons and missile launchers, are displayed on a patch of green grass to the left of a paved pathway. The cannons feature large wooden or metal wheels. A line of well-maintained green hedges runs parallel to the pathway, separating it from the exhibits. Several individuals are present. In the midground, near the cannon exhibits, one woman in a dark jacket stands to the left of a cannon, while two men are positioned further right among other exhibits, one wearing a dark jacket and the other a green shirt. Further along the pathway, another individual in a dark jacket is walking uphill away from the viewer. Two additional figures are visible on a dark, possibly wooden, footbridge that spans a lower area behind the main line of exhibits. To the far left, a large evergreen tree stands, partially obscuring the fortress wall. On the right side of the image, an old brick building with stone elements runs alongside the paved path, which slopes upwards into the distance. Several dark streetlights with white globes are spaced along the path. The sky is largely covered by white and grey clouds, with patches of blue visible. Shadows are cast on the pathway, indicating an unseen light source.
