Four antique polearms and impact weapons are displayed horizontally within a brightly lit glass museum case in Mechouar Fes Jdid, Morocco. The upper weapon is a long-handled battle-axe, featuring an ornate, dark metal head with a pointed finial and a long shaft. To its left, a flail is depicted, composed of a spiked handle connected by a chain to a spiked spherical metal head. Positioned to the right and slightly below the battle-axe is a shorter-handled pickaxe or war hammer with a curved, pointed metal head. Below this, resting on a small dark stand, is a mace with a long shaft and a multi-faceted dark metal head. The weapons appear constructed from dark-toned metals and shaft materials. Dark information plaques are visible along the base of the display case. The exhibit is illuminated by overhead strip lighting, causing reflections on the transparent front panel. No people are present.
