A bronze-toned bas-relief sculpture, depicting a religious scene, is mounted outdoors on a light-colored plinth in Thika Township ward, Kenya. The relief features three male figures: on the left, a kneeling figure with a halo, likely Jesus, shown with hands raised and palms open; in the center, a standing figure supporting the vertical beam of a large wooden cross with his left hand, and extending his right arm towards the kneeling figure; on the right, a Roman soldier in profile, wearing a helmet and segmented armor, holding the horizontal beam of the cross and extending his right arm forward. The cross is positioned diagonally across the upper right portion of the relief. The figures are rendered with visible drapery and detailed expressions.
