The wall surrounding the niche is constructed from light-colored, speckled beige and brown tiles. The niche itself is framed by a smoother, light-colored trim, and its interior back wall appears dark. At the uppermost position, a small, decorative birdhouse-shaped item with a yellow base and a light blue roof contains a white, fluffy, static bird effigy with fanned tail feathers. Directly below this, two rectangular, light-grey wire birdcages are stacked. The upper cage encloses a single light-colored bird perched inside. The lower stacked cage contains at least one dark-colored bird and features a green tubular feeder attached to its right side. At the bottom of the niche, several smaller, empty wire cages are partially visible, including one in green and others displaying orange accents.
