The foreground consists of rippled, dark blue water. A low, dry stone wall or rocky bank occupies the bottom edge of the frame. Bare tree branches are visible in the upper left, silhouetted against the sky. The distant shoreline is dominated by a dense, dark green coniferous forest covering a hill, which transitions to lighter green, open hills on the far right. A multi-arched bridge or viaduct structure is discernible in the far distance on the right side of the frame. In the mid-ground, a single individual, dressed in dark clothing, operates a light blue, motorized boat, moving from right to left across the water and leaving a visible wake. To the left and slightly behind this moving boat, at least five additional smaller, light-colored boats, some equipped with outboard motors, are stationary in a line. Several orange buoys are also present further left in the water.
