In the foreground, a cattle egret (Bubulcus ibis) with a white body, orange-buff head and neck, and an orange beak, walks leftward through vibrant green grass and shallow water. Its reflection is partially visible in the water. The midground consists of a large, tilled area of wet, dark brown mud with visible puddles and furrows. Three additional white egrets are distributed across this muddy expanse; one in the upper-left is observed with its head lowered, indicative of foraging. Two distinct vertical wooden stakes are embedded in the muddy terrain. The immediate foreground also features several out-of-focus, feathery plant stalks.
