wide, still body of water, possibly a canal or river, in Gul Kalachah, Afghanistan. The water is a clear, light green color, with a sandy bottom. There is a single yellow raft floating in the middle of the water, secured by a thin rope attached to either bank. The raft consists of approximately 15 square, yellow, floating objects, stacked in a rectangular shape. On the left of the image, a large tree, with several smaller trees behind it, stands on the bank overlooking the water. The bank slopes down to the water, with dry, light brown dirt and some sparse vegetation. In the background, there is a large, mud-brick wall that continues beyond the right edge of the image. There are low, distant hills in the background, shrouded by haze. The image appears to have been taken on a clear day, but the air is hazy and the ground is dry and dusty. There are no people present in the image.
