The image displays a mountainous road scene located within the municipality of Calheta, Portugal. A narrow, wet asphalt road, appearing damp from moisture, extends from the foreground into the distance, curving gently to the right. To the left of the road is a strip of green grass, bordered by darker soil and muddy patches with faint track impressions. Beyond this grassy verge, the terrain drops into a steep, heavily vegetated valley. The right side of the road is immediately bordered by dense, low-lying scrub and brush, predominantly green with reddish-brown foliage. These scrub-covered hills rise steeply on both sides of the visible valley, extending to the horizon. Several utility poles are discernible along the distant ridgeline against an overcast, uniformly grey sky. Two individuals are observed walking away from the camera along the asphalt road. The person on the left wears a red jacket, while the person on the right wears a white or light-colored jacket, possibly hooded. They are walking in the same direction, maintaining proximity but exhibiting no overt interaction.
