MomentThe image depicts a religious scene set in the town of Častá, Slovakia. Three stone sculptures depicting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ are positioned on a rocky, overgrown hillside. The sculptures are arranged vertically, with the uppermost sculpture partially visible at the top edge of the image, the middle one fully visible, and the lowermost sculpture partially visible at the bottom. Each crucifixion scene includes a cross and at least one additional figure, presumably mourners. Green trees and a blue sky with some clouds form the backdrop. The perspective is from below, looking upwards towards the sculptures. Some flowers have been placed next to the sculptures. A vapor trail from an airplane is also seen.
