The insect is oriented diagonally across the leaf surface, with its head directed toward the upper left portion of the frame. Its body exhibits a primary coloration of light brown and tan, with subtle greenish tints discernible on its head and upper body. Two segmented antennae extend forward and upward from its head. The grasshopper's folded forewings cover its abdomen, and portions of its powerful hind legs are visible. A distinct shadow is cast directly beneath the insect on the leaf. The leaf itself is broad and green, characterized by prominent, lighter yellowish-green veins. The background, situated in the upper right, is heavily blurred, displaying indistinct brown and darker tones consistent with dried vegetation or natural ground cover. The scene is illuminated by strong, direct light. This observation is located in Taungpi, Myanmar (Burma).
