A light-colored Budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus) with pastel green and yellow plumage is observed perched on a black horizontal bar inside a dark-colored, cylindrical wire birdcage. The bird's eyes are partially closed. The cage is suspended from a hook mechanism attached to a light-grey corrugated roof eave. Lush green tree foliage constitutes the background, visible through the cage bars. A segment of pale blue sky is visible in the upper right. A second, lighter-colored perch is situated at the bottom of the cage. This scene is located in the city of Bogor, Indonesia.
