The image displays two taxidermied raptors against a plain, light gray wall in the city of Tsarevo, Bulgaria. The raptor on the left is larger, standing upright, oriented slightly right but with its head tilted left. Its plumage is predominantly light brown with lighter, possibly white, streaking on the underside and head; its eyes appear closed or sunken, and it is mounted on a light brown cylindrical wooden perch. The second raptor, visible on the lower right, consists primarily of its head and upper neck, oriented to the right. This bird exhibits darker brown plumage with more defined lighter barring on its head and neck. It features a distinct open yellow eye with a dark pupil and a dark, slightly open beak revealing a yellow cere. No individuals are present. The scene is static, featuring only the two preserved birds.
