UnknownKyrgyzstan

A rugged, textured rock face, predominantly grey and light brown, extends from the lower right to the upper left, partially obscured by a bright, clear blue sky in the upper portion of the image. Multiple rectangular memorial plaques of varying sizes, materials, and colors are affixed directly to the rock surface. The plaques are mostly light blue, white, brown, or dark grey. Key visible plaques include: 1. On the far right, a white plaque with a portrait photograph commemorates "ПИТАКОВ Денис Геннадьевич" (Denis Gennadievich PITAKOV), with dates 11.05.1969 - 11.08.2019. 2. To its left, a light blue plaque with a five-bladed symbol states, "В честь 70-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной Войне 1941-1945 гг." (In honor of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945). 3. Further left, a brown plaque reads, "ПЕРВЫЕ СОВМЕСТНЫЕ ВОСХОЖДЕНИЯ В КУ ГРУ СМО СНГ на п.П.П. в честь 70-летия Победы в ВОВ. Август 2019." (FIRST JOINT ASCENTS OF THE CIS SMO GRU KG on p.P.P. in honor of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. August 2019.) 4. Below the 70th-anniversary plaque, a white plaque for "КУРМАЧЕВ Юрий Федорович" (Yuri Fedorovich KURMACHEV) lists dates 23.02.1949 - 22.07.2017, with a small etched design. 5. Further left and lower, a light blue plaque for "ПРОХОРЕНКО ВЛАДИМИР" (Vladimir PROKHORENKO) includes dates 06.01.1961 - 18.06.2016. Additional illegible light blue and dark grey plaques are visible across the rock face. Sparse green vegetation protrudes from a crevice near the upper right. The scene depicts a memorial site on a rock outcrop in a city in Kyrgyzstan.
