This image depicts the Yerevan Cascade, a massive limestone staircase complex, extending up a hillside in Yerevan, Armenia. The perspective is from ground level, looking upwards. In the foreground, a dark green hedge runs horizontally across the bottom third of the frame, partially obscuring the immediate ground level. Behind the hedge, a dark bronze-colored reclining human figure sculpture is visible on the left. A light blue, amorphous object is partially visible on the far left, behind the hedge. The top right corner of a light-colored vehicle is visible at the bottom right. The central subject is the multi-tiered Cascade, characterized by broad flights of stairs alternating with landscaped terraces planted with green bushes arranged in neat rows. Interspersed within the staircase structure are several large, arched architectural elements, some containing windows or glass panels.
