The scene, located in Mirište, Montenegro, depicts an overhead view looking down into an open, approximately rectangular pit. The pit's interior walls are constructed of rough concrete, with a section of exposed stone or brickwork visible on the upper right side. Two circular apertures, possibly pipe openings, are present on the upper left interior wall. The bottom of the pit is covered with dark earth and a dense layer of fallen brown leaves, upon which various discarded items are scattered. These include multiple white plastic bags, a distinct yellow plastic sheet or fabric, blue plastic fragments, a green plastic object (possibly part of a chair or container), and a white and blue plastic container with a handle. The pit opening is partially obscured by natural elements: numerous bare tree branches hang from above, while vibrant green leafy vegetation, including ivy, grows along the left edge and in the immediate foreground.
