Stake attention in this memory
The upper section of a dark-stained, ornately carved wooden cabinet, located in Puebla, Mexico, occupies the lower portion of the frame. A prominent cornice, adorned with carved leaf motifs and a central frieze featuring scrolling patterns, crowns the structure. Two door panels are visible. The left panel showcases a symmetrical relief carving composed of two stacked urns flanked by foliate designs, topped with a fan-like motif. The right panel presents a narrative relief carving depicting a mounted figure, possibly a warrior, with a horse and other indistinct figures or animals in the foreground, set against a backdrop of a large tree and undulating terrain. Vertical carved pilasters, some smooth and others spirally fluted, separate and flank the panels. A dark-colored handle is situated between the two main panels. The upper frame reveals a textured, light-colored stucco ceiling.
