A male Indian Peafowl (Pavo cristatus) stands on sparse grass and dirt under direct sunlight in Dos Hermanas, Spain. The peacock displays a vibrant blue head and neck with a small crest and white eye patches. Its body plumage is greenish-bronze, with distinct brown-orange underparts. A long, partially fanned train of iridescent green tail feathers, adorned with multiple blue 'eyespots' (ocelli), extends behind and to the left of the bird. The peacock faces right, with its head slightly turned, and its light-colored legs are visible. To the left, a textured tree trunk, possibly a palm, is partially visible. The background consists of a dense thicket of green, coniferous-type trees on elevated ground.
