A handcrafted wooden face mask is positioned centrally against a reddish-brown brick wall with light grey mortar joints in Pancharevo, Bulgaria. The mask, constructed from multiple painted wood pieces, features a prominent vertical blue nose adorned with geometric patterns in yellow, green, and white. Triangular wooden pieces painted with concentric arcs in white, red, brown, and yellow serve as eyes, situated beneath dark wooden strips representing eyebrows. A bundle of natural-colored twine is affixed to the left upper side of the mask, simulating hair. Two white daisy-like flowers with red outlines and yellow centers are painted on the light brown wooden base below the eyes.
