The background consists of the Adriatic Sea, an island, and a coastal city segment. The sea extends horizontally, with minor ripples visible. A prominent, elongated, dark green island (Sveti Nikola) occupies the central-left horizon. To the right of the island, the sun is visible as a bright, circular disc, positioned low above the horizon line. A vertical column of intense sunlight reflects off the sea's surface, extending towards the viewer. Along the right coastline, numerous multi-story buildings, characterized by light facades and visible balconies, rise densely. The sky transitions from a light blue at the zenith to a golden yellow near the horizon. Two faint, horizontal contrails are visible in the upper sky. No human figures are present.
