The image shows a sign about the Kharkiv Regional State Administration building. Constructed in the 1950s in the Stalinist Empire style, it became a landmark. In 1990s, Soviet symbols were replaced with Ukrainian ones. Located on Sumska Street, the building faced relentless Russian shelling after February 24, 2022. On March 1, 2022, the right wing was destroyed by two Kalibr missiles, damaging nearby buildings. As of April 3, 2022, 29 people died. The building is not repairable, so conservation efforts are underway.
