The scene captures a dense arrangement of tropical foliage in Pinnwe, Myanmar (Burma). Dominating the foreground are multiple large, dark green, ovate leaves with distinct pale yellow to white central stripes. Several elongated, light green developing flower spathes protrude from the central plant. Minor insect damage, specifically small holes, is visible on some of the broad leaves. Surrounding these are numerous smaller, slender-leaved plants, many featuring small clusters of pinkish-red flowers. The background consists of varied green and some purplish-tinged foliage. A small, dark insect is present on one of the striped leaves. A fragment of light-colored debris is partially obscured by vegetation in the upper left background.
