The dog features tan fur on its head and forelegs, with a darker, seemingly black or dark brown, coat visible on its back. A substantial layer of light-colored dust or sand covers its back and parts of its face. Its pink tongue is slightly extended from its mouth. The dog's head is oriented generally towards the top of the frame. The ground beneath the dog consists of green grass mixed with some bare soil patches. Scattered debris on the grass includes small brown leaves, several crumpled blue plastic fragments, a small stick, and a dark stone towards the lower left. A piece of light-colored material, possibly paper, is visible in the upper right portion of the image.
