This is an aerial nocturnal photograph depicting an urban intersection within the Chongqing High-tech Zone, China. The scene is illuminated primarily by artificial light sources. In the foreground and mid-ground, a wide, multi-lane asphalt road runs diagonally from the lower left to the upper right, intersecting with another road. The intersection features clearly marked pedestrian crosswalks and multiple operational traffic lights. Traffic signals visible for the diagonal road indicate green, while signals for the intersecting road appear red. Several vehicles are present on the road network: in the bottom-left segment, multiple cars, including at least two yellow taxis, are stopped at a red light.
