The image depicts a wide pedestrian boulevard in Polatsk, Belarus, on an overcast day. In the immediate foreground, a walkway paved with rectangular grey pavers, arranged in a stretcher bond pattern, extends from the bottom of the frame. These pavers exhibit minor discoloration and wear. The midground is dominated by a central pathway paved with reddish-brown interlocking pavers, arranged in geometric patterns including squares and diagonal lines. This pathway is bordered by two rows of tall, black, rectangular metal pillars, which support an elaborate overhead display of white string lights. The lights are strung in parallel lines, forming scalloped or wave-like patterns along the length of the boulevard. Large, grey, cylindrical planters containing purple flowers are positioned at the base of some of these pillars in the foreground. Further down the boulevard, smaller grey pot-shaped planters, one with red/pink flowers and another with white flowers, are affixed to the pillars. On the left side of the boulevard, beyond the trees, a parallel street is visible with several parked and moving vehicles, including a white sedan and a dark sedan. A light-colored building is partially visible behind the trees on the left. On the right side, further down the boulevard, a person is visible under a large, light-brown umbrella near a bench. A blue and white road sign is also discernible on the right side, adjacent to the street. The sky is uniformly overcast with grey clouds, indicating a lack of direct sunlight.
