The text also states that these paintings, at first glance, appear similar to Bushman paintings in southern Africa, and indeed the Sandewe and Bushman populations are genetically linked, although only in the distant past. The display also features a map of Africa with a red dot near Tanzania, and a woman looking directly at the camera.
