A small, dark-bodied insect, exhibiting iridescent reddish-purple segments, is stationary on the upper surface of a serrated green leaf positioned in the upper-middle of the vertical frame. Surrounding this central subject are multiple green plant leaves of various shapes and shades, some showing minor surface irregularities or damage.
