A large, rectangular, light-colored stone relief sculpture is displayed in what appears to be a museum or exhibition space in Athina, Greece. The relief depicts two main figures. On the left, a man, possibly a warrior or king, lies prone and fully armored, resting his head on a pillow. He appears to be sleeping or deceased. In the background behind him, a fortified city or castle is visible. To the right of the prone figure, a second, partially draped figure, possibly an angel or allegorical representation, is seated, gazing towards the lying man. A large shield and a staff or spear are positioned behind the seated figure.

The relief is mounted on a dark display stand or pedestal. On the left wall in the background, framed artwork and maps or informational posters are visible. On the right, a part of a golden-framed artwork can be seen. Fluorescent lighting fixtures are mounted on the ceiling above.

Visible text includes an inscription along the bottom edge of the relief in Greek, which reads "Κωνσταντίνος ευχδιτικός βασιλεύς και αυτοκράτ[ωρ] ΧΙ ρωμανοσ παλαιολόγος," identifying the figure as "Constantine, pious king and emperor XI Romanos Palaiologos," referring to Constantine XI Palaiologos, the last Byzantine Emperor. The Roman numeral "XI" is clearly visible as "ΧΙ". A number "145" is inscribed on the pedestal, possibly referring to the year 1453, the year of Constantinople's fall and Constantine XI's death. An additional inscription runs along the top inner border of the relief, but it is largely illegible. The scene evokes a solemn and historical atmosphere.
