Scattered throughout the midground and background are numerous yellow daffodil flowers (Narcissus species) with green foliage, appearing to grow from the forest floor. Several slender, bare tree trunks and branches, light brown to grey in color, traverse the frame vertically and diagonally, partially obstructing the view. A small patch of green moss is visible on a tree base in the lower left quadrant. The background shows a denser arrangement of similar bare trees. No human figures or discernible man-made objects are present.
