RemeraRwanda

A weathered educational mural, approximately rectangular with a prominent blue border, is painted directly onto an exterior reddish-brown brick wall in Remera, Rwanda. The mural depicts the human urinary system and is titled "THE URINARY SYSTEM" in black capital letters at the top. The central diagram features two reddish-brown, bean-shaped kidneys, labeled "RIGHT KIDNEY" and "LEFT KIDNEY." A red "AORTA" and blue "VENA CAVA" are centrally positioned, with arrows indicating "BLOOD FROM HEART" (downward, red side) and "BLOOD TO HEART" (upward, blue side), respectively. Renal arteries and veins connect the kidneys to these main vessels. Yellow ureters extend downwards from each kidney, connecting to a central yellow bladder. Below the bladder, yellow "SPHINCTER MUSCLES" are depicted. The light-colored background of the diagram shows significant paint peeling and wear, exposing the underlying wall texture. To the immediate left of the mural is a vertical section of a smooth, white-painted column. To the immediate right, a portion of a blue-framed window is visible. The surrounding brickwork of the wall is exposed above, below, and to the right of the mural. No individuals or specific actions are present in the scene.
