The exhibit showcases Wang Zhen's and Woccen's movable-type characters. In 129, Wang Zhen invented the revolving typesetting machine, which enabled the rapid creation of movable-type characters. He arranged the character sets into two large wooden trays. By moving the trays, typesetters could quickly locate and select characters, increasing efficiency and reducing labor. With faster printing speeds and expanded distribution, wooden movable-type printing became popular. During the Qing dynasty, these printed books were common.
