A metal railing runs along the top of this wall, and beyond the railing is a paved walkway. The right bank of the stream is covered with grass and weeds, and also has scattered rocks. The stream bed itself is a mix of mud, debris, and rocks. Some of the rocks are large, flat, and light gray, and others are smaller and darker. There are also patches of green aquatic plants and debris floating on the surface of the water. The water is dark and murky. In the distance, the stream disappears into a hazy background where buildings and trees are faintly visible. Sunlight is streaming in from the right side of the frame, creating a lens flare effect and casting a warm glow on the scene. There are no people visible in the immediate foreground or mid-ground. The overall impression is of a somewhat neglected urban waterway.
