A white marble statue of the Madonna and Child is centrally positioned within an arched niche, itself embedded in a rough-hewn natural stone wall. The niche is lined with small, square gold mosaic tiles, and framed by a thin border of blue and gold mosaic. The seated Madonna holds the Christ Child on her left lap; both figures are sculpted in a classic, draped style, facing forward. The statue rests on a cylindrical marble pedestal. This pedestal features a Latin inscription: "MAGNA MATER AUSTRIAE", "MATER GENTIUM SLAVORUM", "MAGNA DOMINA HUNGARORUM", followed by "STIFTER: DR. WOLFGANG PNEGGER", and the year "MMXVII" (2017). Surrounding the inscription are multiple colorful coats of arms, including those of Croatia, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The stone wall surrounding the niche consists of irregularly shaped, light-colored blocks with visible mortar joints. This specific monument is located at the Dormition Abbey on Mount Zion in Jerusalem, Israel.
