The sun is a dominant, brilliant white light source located in the upper center-right portion of the frame, exhibiting distinct lens flare and emanating beams of light. It is partially obscured by a large, white and grey cumuliform cloud mass that occupies the right side of the image, extending from the middle to the bottom right. A similar, though slightly smaller, cloud formation frames the left side of the image, from the middle to the bottom left. The sky between these cloud formations is a clear, deep blue. Scattered smaller white cloud fragments are visible in the upper left quadrant. No ground features, structures, or individuals are present in the scene.
